SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash off  It’s been close to a decade, since I actually owned a mechanical exfoliator that did something. Everything I’ve tried since has been a massive disappointment and then this one came along. It really is everything people say and it makes your skin feel incredibly smooth. But if you have sensitive skin and are in general a super nervous person who thinks their face will fall off if an occasional good manual scrub touches their face, just don’t even consider this one because this is a very harsh sugar scrub. Yes, like those for the body, but my skin is so hardy, only heavy-duty stuff ...

Clio waterproof brush eyeliner, Mac Satin Taupe eyeshadow over Essence 2 in 1 Eye Shadow & Liner 06 she’s got the mauve. Sephora Lip Stain in Marvelous Mauve in all pictures. CATRICE Liquid Camouflage Concealer While I won’t say this is my favourite concealer, it’s certainly one of the best, if not the best budget concealer that I can just run to get to the nearest drugstore in Slovenia when I want high coverage. It similar to Collection Lasting Finish and Nars Radiant concealer, though not quite as good as it covers a bit less, but it looks good under the eyes because it’s not as matte and it’s lighter, ...

NARS Sheer Glow Siberia and BOURJOIS 123 Perfect CC Cream 31 Ivory Since I finally used up a foundation I hate (Rimmel), I started mixing Bourjois CC cream, which is too dark for me, with Nars’ Sheer Glow and it proved a lovely combination. It combines the best of both worlds – high coverage from Sheer Glow, while the CC cream makes it more natural looking on the skin as well as makes it less dry for the season, so it ends up wearing quite nice too. This combo also gives me a nice healthy glow, but it doesn’t look greasy with time.  ALIEXPRESS Big Oval Makeup Brush  First I ...

REVLON Photoready Prime+Anti-Shine My skin’s been shinier than usual in the past month and that Catrice HD foundation isn’t actually matte on my skin, so instead of using powder, I’ve been using this primer on my T-Zone and a bit under the eyes because it smooths out the skin and the foundation glides on easier. I like how simple and quick it is too use, you don’t even need a lot, so the layer of product on the skin ends up being very light, but it does mattify without looking ugly powdery or dry. I’ve had this since last year and when my skin was drier, this really emphasized dry ...

THEBALM Meet Matt(e) Hughes Committed I’ve just posted a review for these and though I bought two shades this month, Charming and Committed, it’s the latter that was on my lips all the time and became one of my favourite ever shades. It’s a difficult colour to describe, theBalm says it’s a pinky nude, but it’s so much more than that on me, as it definitely has a bit of peachiness to it. The formula is in my eyes outstanding – properly matte in minutes, it doesn’t transfer or smudge, it lasts well on the lips, plus fades nicely and is comfortable to wear. So far these are my favourite ...

MISSLYN Pop it Up Gel Eyeliner & Eyeshadow 01 Black Outlines and 15 Blue Eyes Wide Open Misslyn released this beautiful Pop Art inspired LE for summer and I was lucky enough to try most of the bits, but these eyeliners impressed me the most. I know they say they are eyeshadows as well, but they work far better as eyeliners and they are great quality. Actually, I had Mac’s Fluidline some time ago and I see no difference. All three shades are very pigmented, smooth, don’t smudge and last so well on the lids, yet I love the classic black one the most, since I wear black eyeliner almost ...
